This mail art project is being organized by Laurel Hart (add me on: www.facebook.com/laurelmariehart ), a prolific artist, community organizer and academic from Concordia University in Montreal, presently an affiliate of McGill University, and an International Fellow at the University of Tokyo. Previous projects and exhibitions curated by or created by Laurel can be found here: www.laurelhart.net, and the Instagram community Her Mind's Eye @inhermindseye
Details will be sent out and a Facebook group for the event will be made. Sign Up to receive updates!
Presently, the temporary plan is for the exhibition to take place in Tokyo at the Design Festa Gallery in Harijuku:
http://whereintokyo.com/venues/25082.html
It is possible that artworks will be actioned off to help pay for exhibition costs.
One plan is to also include a virtual gallery space, where participant's mail artworks can be scanned and displayed online in order to create greater accessibility and improve access.
Presently, the title, details, and exact location of the exhibition are all "in process." If you think you might be interested in participating, please Sign Up to be notified of the detail and have your name added to the list of potential exhibitors!
